There are lots of Easter-related events happening this weekend, so I covered some of those in a separate post here for anyone interested!

But of course there are plenty of other local events, updates & live music happening in Ann Arbor (& throughout Washtenaw county) to explore as usual… let’s dive in!

🎥 62nd Annual Ann Arbor Film Festival | March 26th-31st

Regarded as one of the oldest and most prestigious avant-garde film festivals in the country, you’ll find a variety of independently made films showcased throughout the festival. See the full schedule of films & other events here!

⏳ Coming Soon

🌮 Gran Maya Mexican restaurant at 497 Zeeb Rd. seems to be gearing up to open soon based on their new sign out front, social media posts & local chatter. I’ve heard that it will likely be in the next couple weeks!

🔥 Another new restaurant, Echelon Kitchen & Bar with a wood-fired, vegetable forward theme is set to open in Ann Arbor at 200 S. Main St. (former location of B.D.’s Mongolian Grill) this summer.

💃 More Fun Events

😺 See “Larry Cat in Space” at the Natural History Museum Planetarium this Friday at 10:30am - a cartoon presentation about a cat who takes a trip to the moon.  ($8 tickets)

💃 Get tickets to see Dance Mix 2024 - the largest student-run dance show featuring performances from more than a dozen groups at the Power Center this Friday at 7pm ($10 tickets)

🙋🏻‍♀️ Play trivia every Thursday night at Conor O’Neil’s at 7:30pm ($5 per team, cash prizes) and every Friday night at Erratic Ale in Dexter at 7 & 8pm (free to play & prizes to winners)

♟️ Play board games at Bløm Meadworks every Wednesday from 5-10pm. Play the games provided or bring your own! (free, but purchase of food/drink encouraged)
