We’ve got a couple iconic Ann Arbor festivals happening this weekend along with plenty of other fun events & live music as always. Let’s dive right in!

📰  What’s Happening?

🥬 53rd Annual Hash Bash & 23rd Annual Monroe Street Fair

Hash Bash kicks off this Saturday at 12pm at the Diag and will feature a lineup of live music & speeches from cannabis activists, local politicians & representatives. The street fair will run from 11am-6pm on Monroe Street with a variety of cannabis-related vendors sharing merchandise, marketing, and good vibes~✨ 

🎭 FoolMoon & FestiFools

A weekend of foolish fun events that scream Ann Arbor in all the best ways is ahead!

Friday Night FoolMoon | 8-11pm
A light-filled parade and party to let your weird, creative & crazy ideas come to life! This year’s theme is FoolBloom where event-goers are encouraged to bring the spring to Ann Arbor with their flower-inspired & light-filled costumes and creations. Join a group at one of the three constellation stations before the procession begins at 8pm sharp. Get all the details here! 

Sunday FestiFools | 4pm
A one-of-a-kind parade on Main St. featuring giant puppets made by university students & community members. Bring a bucket to bang on, a crazy costume, or just come as you are and join the fun! Arrive early as the parade starts at 4pm sharp.

Solar Eclipse | Monday
Whether you’re planning to make the trek to a city on the path of totality or not, make sure you get some ISO-certified glasses to protect yourself! Warby Parker is giving away free glasses while supplies last.

💃 More Fun Events

🪩 FoolMoon Pre-Party & Silent Disco at Blom Meadworks this Friday from 5-10pm. Create your own flower crafts to carry or add to your FoolMoon costume, tarot readings, indoor/outdoor silent disco & more!

📚 Literati Bookstore kids pajama party this Friday at 6pm! Kids invited to wear their jammies for snacks & story time as Michigan children’s author, Emmy Kasner, reads her new book about what animals do at night!

🍝 Carosello Pasta’s 2nd Anniversary Pop-Up Party this Saturday in featuring Bev’s Bagels from 10am-1pm and Ellen’s Fine Goods from 2-5pm. Visit Dexter to get THE BEST fresh pasta (and pop-up bagels) ((and treats)) and thank me later!

🤲 Y2Gay Drag Show at the Ypsi Freighthouse this Saturday at 7:30pm. This 2-part event is throwing it back to the 90s and 2000s with rotating drag stars & on-brand music with DJ Medusa.

💿 Monster AA Record & CD Collectors Show this Sunday from 10am-4pm at Weber’s Inn featuring more than 50 dealers selling rare & collectible used records and CDs, as well as hard-to-find new releases.

🧵 Sunday Artisan Market featuring a variety of local handmade arts and crafts for sale at the Farmers Market Pavilion in Kerrytown from 11am-4pm.
